This cold climate wine bar and kitchen embraces Tasmania’s long held status as the gateway to Antarctica with a passion for everything coldhearted.
Enjoy our seasonal set menu or fresh a la carte plates featuring ethical produce from quality local growers, fishers and farmers.
Think native angasi oysters, a changing repertoire of handmade pasta, pristine seafood from the Southern Ocean and salumi from the berkel slicer. An interest in alpine food traditions like pickling, fermenting, smoking and curing drives our spirit of exploration.

Available during operating hours on a walk in basis.
Excellent for individuals or small luxury tours. For larger groups, please email us to reserve a private room.

A top mixologist will show you how to tailor the perfect martini and its variations. Whether its shaken or stirred, super dry, dirty or with a twist, you will be mixing it like a pro in no time.
